I’m a first generation Chinese American and my family didn’t participate in outdoor sports while I was growing up. Since moving to Seattle in 2017 I’ve fallen in love with hiking, backpacking, and snowboarding. I know the feeling of second guessing myself in these sports and I want to encourage more women of color to take up space in them!
